Intel Razor Lake-AX roadmap: 700 TOPS in 2028 versus Panther Lake’s 180 TOPS
Intel’s robotics roadmap gives AI PC builders a sharp lesson in what TOPS numbers reveal, and what they hide.
- Treat 700 TOPS as a roadmap target, not a workload benchmark.
- Ask for numerical precision and CPU, GPU, NPU split before comparing AI chips.
- Do not assume robotics silicon automatically maps to future laptop products.
