EY survey: 98% have AI policies, but 47% skipped governance and 26% miss hidden agents
The survey is not an argument for more binders. It is a prompt to put AI approvals, inventories, and monitoring in the path of shipping.
- Treat AI policies as deployable controls, not paperwork, by tying approvals to release and procurement workflows.
- Build an agent inventory now, including owners, permissions, connected tools, data categories, and production status.
- Verify agent behavior repeatedly, because one approval at launch will not catch permission drift or hidden internal agents.
